Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers help you decide what feels right.
General
Is Light & Balance faith-centered?
Yes. Kimberly’s work is grounded in her faith and her belief that God is the source of true healing. Faith is approached naturally and with care, never with pressure.
Do I need to share Kimberly’s beliefs?
No. You are welcome wherever you are in your beliefs or personal journey. Kimberly will meet you with respect and will not ask you to believe as she does.
How long is a session?
Available session options and their lengths are shown when scheduling, so you can choose what feels right for you.
How should I prepare?
There is no special preparation required. It can help to arrive with a little time to settle and consider what you hope to receive.
What might I feel afterward?
Every person’s experience is different. You may want to leave yourself a little quiet time afterward to notice how you feel, without expecting a particular outcome.
How do scheduling and rescheduling work?
Current availability and scheduling details are provided on the scheduling page. Any rescheduling information that applies will be shared during the booking process.
Energy Work
What is energy work?
Energy work considers the connection between emotional, spiritual, and energetic well-being. It can help you notice patterns, beliefs, and burdens that may be influencing how you feel.
What happens during a session?
A session begins with a conversation about what is bringing you in and what you hope to receive. Kimberly will guide the rest of the experience. You can ask questions or pause at any time.
Is there physical touch?
It depends on the kind of session you choose. Kimberly will explain what to expect and ask for your consent before any touch. You may always choose a no-touch approach.
Do I need to share private details?
No. You choose what you would like to share. It is possible to name what you are feeling or hoping for without telling the whole story.
Is energy work medical or mental-health treatment?
No. Energy work is not medical care, psychotherapy, or a substitute for treatment from a qualified health professional. If you have a health concern, please seek appropriate professional support.
Harmonic Light Therapy
What should I expect during a Harmonic Light Therapy session?
Your session is designed to be simple and relaxing. You’ll get comfortable while soft, flexible LumiCeuticals light pads are placed on or around different areas of your body. Once your session begins, there is nothing you need to do—just relax and enjoy the light.
How long is a session?
A typical Harmonic Light Therapy session lasts approximately 30 minutes. Your session may vary depending on the areas being supported and the settings being used.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to relax. Depending on the focus of your session, the light pads may be placed over clothing or directly against the skin when appropriate.
Will I feel anything from the lights?
The experience is gentle and non-invasive. You may notice warmth from some of the light pads, and many people find the experience peaceful and relaxing. You do not need to feel anything specific for the lights to be working.
Is Harmonic Light Therapy the same as red light therapy?
Not quite. Red and near-infrared light are an important part of the LumiCeuticals system, but Harmonic Light Therapy goes beyond traditional red light therapy. LumiCeuticals can use multiple wavelengths of light and combines them with pulsed harmonic frequencies, allowing light and frequency to be used together during your session.
How often can I have a session?
How often you choose Harmonic Light Therapy can depend on your individual needs and goals. Some people enjoy occasional sessions as part of their wellness routine, while others may choose to come more regularly.
Are there times when I should not use Harmonic Light Therapy?
Light therapy may not be appropriate for everyone. If you are pregnant, have epilepsy or are prone to seizures, are sensitive to light, are being treated for cancer, have a medical condition you are concerned about, or take medications that can cause light sensitivity, please talk with your healthcare provider before scheduling a light therapy session.
If you’re unsure whether Harmonic Light Therapy is appropriate for you, I’m happy to answer questions about the session and the equipment before you schedule.
Can I combine Harmonic Light Therapy with other Light & Balance services?
Yes. Harmonic Light Therapy can be enjoyed as its own service or paired with other services at Light & Balance. We can talk about what you’re looking for and decide what feels like the best fit for you.
